Field trips are one of our favorite ways to turn the world around us into a classroom—and you don’t have to be a homeschool family to join us.
The Sweet Potato Field Trip Club gives families access to organized field trip opportunities throughout our community and beyond. We do the planning and find the opportunities; you choose the adventures that work for your family.
Your $10 monthly membership gives you:
A minimum of two field trip opportunities each month
A private monthly email and text update with upcoming trips
Direct registration links so you can immediately secure available spots
Up to two additional emails each month with new opportunities, reminders, or Field Trip Club updates
Access to Sweet Potato's organized Field Trip Club outings
At least once each month, we'll send members the details for upcoming Field Trip Club outings.
Each listing will include the important stuff—where we're going, when we're going, the cost, who the trip is best suited for, registration deadlines, and anything else you'll need to know.

Simply follow the private registration link for that field trip. If spots are still available, you'll be able to register and secure your family's place right away.
You're welcome to join the trips that work for your family and skip the ones that don't.
Individual field-trip costs are not included in the $10 monthly membership.
When a venue charges admission or another participation fee, you'll pay that cost when you register for the trip.
Sweet Potato does not upcharge field trips. Our goal is to make great experiences easier to find and enjoy together—not make money on the cost of admission.
