The Plan.
Sweet Potato Academy serves homeschool students ages 5–17 with small-group academic support, guided learning, accountability, and community.
Students attend one, two, or three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, allowing families to choose the level of support that works best for their homeschool.

The Rhythm.
Academy days balance focused academics with the breathing room kids need to learn well.
Students work in small groups with tutor support, moving through core academic work, collaborative learning, independent practice, and hands-on experiences throughout the day.
Regular breaks, outdoor time, and lunch are built into the rhythm, giving students opportunities to reset, connect with friends, and return to their work ready to learn.
Because every homeschool student is different, support is shaped around each student’s needs, goals, and current level—not a one-size-fits-all classroom pace.

The Financials.
Choose the level of weekly support that works for your family.
One Day Per Week — $250/month
Choose one Academy day each week for consistent academic support, accountability, and community.Two Days Per Week — $525/month

Tuesday + Wednesday + ThursdayTuition is billed monthly for the duration of enrollment.
Friday enrichment programs are offered separately in themed cycles and are open to both Academy students and the wider homeschool community. Friday enrollment is $570 per cycle.

What is Assisted Homeschool?
Assisted homeschool is exactly what it sounds like—truly homeschool, with the support we wish we had.
Your priorities, your homeschool, and our shared commitment to helping your child thrive make us a team. Sweet Potato Academy provides small-group academic support, guidance, accountability, and community while parents remain in control of their homeschool.
It’s a way to reclaim some time, focus on the parts of homeschooling you love, and have trusted support walking alongside your family.
What days/times do you meet?
Sweet Potato Academy learners meet with our homeschool tutors at Art Academy: The Annex, located at 16113 LA-44 in Prairieville.
Academy meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. Families may enroll for one, two, or three Academy days per week.
We also offer separate Friday enrichment programs throughout the year.
Are there any drop in options?
We do not currently offer drop-in Academy days. Families enroll for consistent weekly attendance on their selected day or days.
Who are the tutors?
Our tutors are experienced homeschool moms with prior tutoring experience who love coming alongside other homeschooling families.

How much does Sweet Potato Academy cost?
For the 2026–2027 academic year, monthly tuition is:
One day per week — $250/month
Two days per week — $525/month
Three days per week — $745/month
Additional fees include:
$175 annual family registration fee
$75 supply fee per student
Friday enrichment programs are separate from regular Academy tuition and are offered in themed cycles throughout the year. Enrollment is $570 per cycle and is open to both Academy students and the wider homeschool community.
