Assisted Homeschool Tutoring

At Sweet Potato Academy, we partner with homeschooling families in Ascension Parish and surrounding areas to provide part-time, in-person academic support through our Assisted Homeschool program. We offer a 3-day-a-week drop-off experience where tutors help bring your chosen curriculum to life—without replacing your role as the primary educator. Our goal is to make homeschooling feel more doable, connected, and supported.

At Sweet Potato Academy, we believe homeschooling doesn’t have to mean doing it all alone. Our Assisted Homeschool program offers a gentle blend of structure and flexibility for families who want to stay in control of their curriculum—but appreciate a little help bringing it to life.

Designed for parents in Ascension Parish and surrounding areas, this 3-day-a-week drop-off program provides a supportive environment where students learn, grow, and thrive under the guidance of caring tutors. We focus on collaboration—not replacement—so you remain the decision-maker while we assist with implementation, enrichment, and accountability.

Whether you’re new to homeschooling or seeking support during a busy season, Sweet Potato Academy is here to walk alongside you.

Full Time tutoring is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 1pm.
Part Time tutoring is on Tuesdays and Thursdays only from 9am to 1pm.
Semi Annual option includes either fall or spring semester and allows you to commit to each semester separately.
Annual option includes an advanced commitment to both fall and spring semester for a discount.
